Kansas power forward Thomas Robinson lost his mother and both grandparents in about a month last season. Struck by unbearable grief, he leaned on KU hoops to heal. Tom Friend follows his journey for ESPN The Magazine.

I strongly dislike KU for many reason; however, this is not one of them. I hope this kid has a great career in the NBA for his sister's sake.

I agree 100%. The guy has been through a lot, and from what I can tell, has handled it with poise.
