The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs have now been to the Frozen Four 6 times, winning the title in 2011.

UMD defeated the Irish 2-1, winning their second national championship, the last of which was in 2011. UMD is still an underdog but more along the lines of a Gonzaga rather than an Maryland type Retreiver.
