Former ESPN College Basketball Analyst Andy Katz joins UCONN staff

Andy Katz will host college gameday at UCONN home FOOTBALL games this year.

It's rumored this role will carry over to basketball season.

I for one, am sorry to learn that Andy is no longer involved with BB on a national basis. More than not, he most often was very positive concerning GM's program during those years Shocker BB was just starting to emerge from those dark ages when we really needed forward going publicity, all the way through to the present.time.

Glad to see he landed on his feet and wish him all the best with his new UCONN job.

Always like Andy Katz. Good for UConn, but as noted above, sort of a bummer he won't be joining The Athletic or another publication.

Katz was on my 'meh' list until he started leading the charge last year that only Top 50 wins mattered. Coming out and actually saying "losses don't matter" pretty much put him on my crap-list.
