Jank is quietly having a good offseason at SMU grabbing transfers and JUCOs. Grabbed Cal starter Darius McNeill (#17 sit out transfer according to ESPN) and Texas A&M big man Isaiah Jasey. Also got JUCO prospects Tyson Jolly and Emmanuel Bandoumel. McNeill could be eligible next season if the NCAA grants waivers to kids whose head coach was fired.

This will be the first season since the NCAA infractions that SMU will have the full 13 scholarships.

ECU picked up two 2019 JUCO commitments this weekend. Bitumba Baruti from Chipola and JJ Miles from Cape Fear. Baruti is ranked #70 by Juco Recruiting and Miles is not ranked. That's four JUCO commits for ECU already in the 2019 class with 2 spots still open.

Everyone else has remained quiet, but expect a busy week of transfers and commits.

Temple just picked up a commitment from Nate Pierre-Louis's brother, Josh. Josh is a 6'2 guard who had committed to UNLV in the fall, but backed out after Marvin Menzies was let go. He is ranked #35 at the shooting guard position by ESPN and #40 at his position by Rivals.

Building around Gardner, plus keeping their next two top scorers, one a JR and the other a SO. If they have a decent class coming in they should be a little better next year, then pretty good the year after that.

According to 247sports, they have the 5th (Tremont Robinson, Garden City CC) and 12th best Juco players (both guards) coming in next year, plus another juco guard and an unrated prep school forward who also had offers from Auburn, GaTech and aTm.

Mass exodus from ECU, as expected. KJ Davis, Justin Whatley, Tyler Foster, Tae Hardy, Deshaun Wade all transferring. Joe Dooley has 4 players signed already, but will still have 4 spots left to fill.

    Memphis, it is.

As WstateU says, this ultimately helps our league, but what will Penny do when he runs out of former players to recruit?

Hope it’s Memphis, a rising tide lifts all boats and I’d love to see him play in Koch Arena.

#1 recruit James Wiseman announcing at 10 AM. Sounds like it's probably either Kentucky or Memphis.

Thanks. Was going off of Verbal Commits but sometimes they make mistakes.

Thanks. Great thread. Also, UCONN has 3 scholarships left. We lose J.Adams, Cobb, Smith, Yakwe, and Williams.
