I don't think I made a thread or post here when I joined last year. I am a 1984 graduate of WSU. I love basketball, but my wife's family, excluding the women folk, all played football at KSU, and a child attended there, so I have some tough feelings to address in my own home. I grew up in western Kansas and both of my sisters and myself attended WSU to get out of a rural community. They were both Shockettes, so my first games at HLA were watched sitting under the porcelain water fountain in the Northeast corner of the floor. I knew Bob Trogele, Cal Bruton, Cheese Johnson, Neil Strom, Jim McCollough (sp), and Robert Elmore. They knew me only as the kid brother of my sisters. During college, I played pick up games in Henrion Gym with Randy Smithson and Reuben Eckels. I am overall a pathetic fan, as I should have season tickets, but with an elderly father and mother in law, and one kid in medical school and a second a sophomore in college, I am just now getting the time to consider tickets for next year. You can tell from my posts, I absolutely abhor guards who make turnovers. I don't care if they make a 3 down the stretch, as I believe there should almost never be more than 10 turnovers a game. I rarely if ever missed a game during my college years. Go Shocks!

Idiots. Obviously don't know how to handle a cover up! Aren't you from '95? My wife actually got her masters from WSU, so she is very cool with me going to games when I get a chance. My son attends Pittsburg State and loves to go to WSU games when at home, but that is rare with his major and job. Frequently I check for last minute single tickets, but driving alone for a couple of hours always makes me hesitate if I can catch it on the tube.Robin Roberts: "My mother used to say, when you strut, you stumble."

Also, if you have single game tickets and looking for a side kick, I'm pretty good at taking my elderly fraternity brothers out to games. Oh, I'm not a serial killer.
