Question About Posting Guidelines

@_kai_:, are the Posting Guidelines from the other board still in effect or will there be new guidelines soon?

It's hard to read through posts, especially during games, without coming across profanity or porn references at times. I know some people probably use this type of talk in their normal everyday speech and then, in the heat of the moment, type these things. But at least the old board would block out these kinds of things.

I hope this is fixed soon. I really don't want to have to take a break from going on Shockernet.

The word filter is non-existent is what he is saying.

If there's a word filter, it's not working. Even posts from a year ago no longer have the profanity filtered.

Yeah, kai, it needs some tweaking. If it sees a bad word even in the middle of an acceptable word it *** it. Here is part of a post from the Temple game thread:

@_kai_: it may just be the fact that the filter removed the word, so obviously they did not change when you changed the filter. I think those will stay as they were forever.
