Ok I turned the "vbMessenger" off. Now instead of "Notifications" and "Messages" at the top, you should just see "Messages". It will still notify you up there if you have a new Message. This prevents the pop-up, but you lose the ability to have that private message window.

This is much closer to how it "used to be". To send a private message you click "Messages" at the top and then the "Compose New" button above your folders.

So the question is: Is this better than when it's turned on? Or did you guys like the private message window feature?

Better now, but I can go either way.
