Hey everyone! I am trying to go to the UNLV game December 9th. It would be my first time attending this stadium. I am flying in. I called the ticket office and they told me that every game is sold out this year because of season ticket holders and that the stadium only holds 10,500. They told me that my best bet would be Stub hub or something online. I looked on Stub Hub and there are only like 12 tickets available and they are all upper level. I am going with 4 other people, so that is a total of 5. What would you guys recommend? I would like to get tickets lower level (the first 15 rows). Will more seats come available once season ticket holders get their tickets? Should the 5 of us split up? Will it be hard for all of us to sit together? How much should be plan on spending? Also, where is the visiting section in the stadium? Do they get a small section behind the bench like normal stadiums?

Every seat is sold to season ticket holders and there is a waiting list to buy season ticklets. There will not be tickets available other than resale by season ticket holders who are unable to go to the game. Those are rare because everyone knows someone who is looking for a ticklet.
For seats at row 15 or below, you are talking about tickets that cost season ticket holders $80 - $120 per game and up. I wouldn't recommend showing up and standing around outside hoping to find a scalped ticket. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

The arena is sold out this year with regards to advanced single game tickets available to the public. The WSU athletic department always has a tiny amount of their own "slush fund" seats, but those are a who-you-know sort of thing. Alternatively though, there are sometimes student section leftovers.
The student section takes up about 1/5rd of the stadium (behind baseline on the visitor side). Their seats are first-come, first-served with regards to their disbursement to the student body. Students are allowed to pick them up at the ticket office at regularly scheduled intervals. Some games the students do not "sell out" their section, and the excess seats go on sale as GA tickets in the hours/days ahead of the game. The student demand here is kind of fickle, and so there is little sense sometimes as to why they don't "sell out." Perhaps this season will be different, but I'm going to guess there is probably a 50/50 chance one could get a student section GA close to the game itself. Perhaps (and hopefully), the students take their full allotment, but if they don't they are there for public consumption.

I'd definitely recommend StubHub. If you are going to be in town regardless of whether or not you are going to the game, then you might take the risk to grab some last minute seats. The odds are not great, especially 5 together. If you are flying in just for the game, StubHub or you run a real high chance of not getting seats.

5 seats together and you want to be close to the court.... prepare to open your checkbook or start a line of credit. That's most likely not going to be possible. More likely to get a set of 3 and a set of 2 down low for better prices. Stubhub is about the only way to go.
