Just a remind to those using SN Ticket Exchange - Face Value or less

A long standing rule, you can see the rules thread, started by Royal, 8 years ago states that there is to be no scalping and tickets must be exchanged for face value or less.

This ticket exchange forum isn't here for you to make a profit, it's to put Shocker fans together to aid one another in exchanging tickets. Regardless of what the market rate for Shocker tickets are, this is an exchange. If you're looking to make more than face value, www.stubhub.com is what that's for. This is just a reminder, as it has been a rule for 8 years now, and it was brought up to my attention by a poster recently.

After talking with @RoyalShock:, we decided the rule is pretty irrelevant at this time. It was created to discourage scalpers abusing our users, but with StubHub and the AD's ticket resale function, it's pointless to demand face value on all tickets on here. So you can ignore that rule on face value only for ticket exchange forum.

In the PM's with some users recently, there are some other issues that have arisen that make the face value thing relevant again. Mainly the potential of away teams purchasing home tickets in bulk and taking advantage of our fans above face value and bypassing Stubhub's fees by selling to our members. It's simply a move to limit the ability to abuse the fans on here.

The landscape is always evolving, but thanks for bringing that up ccr.

Also, based on that date, it seems December is the time I get these PM's about the ticket exchange. Makes sense.
