Not that it wasn't before, but this is just Valley welfare at the expense of WSU.

Nobody from SIU buys all session tickets. It's friends and family only for Indiana State, Evansville, Drake every year and I'm about one million % certain you can throw in Loyola.

Bradley would bring a fair number of fans, if their team didn't blow. Illinois State to a lesser extent. UNI is like double Indiana State which is to say, irrelevant.

SIU and MSU, if there's interest, would be day fans only. No money and no support. SIU has potential, but as we all know, that's miles away at this point.

The ONLY reason the tournament is still in St Louis is WSU. It's not viable otherwise. And it's ridiculous that we are still gouged.

Actually WSU and CU got treated the best when it came to ticketing. The 2 center court sections are not available to the schools (the same as Intrust Bank Arena), those go to corporate sponsors of the arena. Our section always starts next to center court and then wraps around from there, same as CU. Everyone else brings so few fans they get rotated in to the other 2 good sections next to center court every other year. Unfortunately we bring so many fans the high donors get the good seats WSU has to offer every year and everyone else gets the corner.

I always spend the money on good WSU seats, then sell the sessions I don't attend and end up breaking pretty damn close to even...I would say going to the games for free is better than buying from scalpers out front.

Presuming we roll to the championship game, am I right that the only sessions would be the play in round and the Friday pair of games we aren't on?

          Si. 2 sessions.

Btw, when are we finally going to get some Shocker sound tunes available for purchase, either from the Itunes store or otherwise? This is long overdue, and I expect someone of your influence to correct this oversight, sooner than later!

I'm not sure if they have the royalty and rights issues are anymore for selling a recording, but it would be cool! I have no pull or contact with the band anymore, though.

Thanks for posting. By looking at last years seating chart, I'd venture to say the arena is going to be pretty damn empty this year. You can see though, that the MVC divides up the 4 good sections evenly among all the schools (104, 102, 117, 115)

I'm just gonna buy em at the window this year. There will be boatloads of good seats available since ISUb is the only other respectable team, and they've never traveled worth a darn even when they're good.

Loyola and Evansville might not bring 100 fans combined.

There are also coupon deals in the newspaper, Taco Bell and the MVC website when we get closer to March.

Seems like one tourney recently there was a deal for 4 tickets for $80, which included a pop and popcorn for each ticket holder.

I have two tickets that I get every year. I am not 100% where they are this year but last year I was in the WSU section. I will get be getting them at the end of the month and am just looking for face value. If someone is interested, PM and we can get something set up.
