I decided to see what was this big story, I really expected something more than a bunch of sophomoric humor and f-bomb movie.

While I do think that he is being made an example of, he was in the Navy long enough to understand that you cant act like an E3 when you're an O5. He should have shown better judgment.

I agree you got to wonder what he was thinking. But he probably got caught where he was used to a old culture that has changed significantly very quickly where political correctness rules and any and everything ends up on the the internet.

If he's going to be relieved then they have to relieve his superiors. To many movies were made and they can't claim they didn't know about them them - as they were being shown ship wide.

2nd question is why now? Why not then when he made them.
