I don’t know, brother. I just don’t get California. How bad does California have to get, before the voters turn from the Democrats? How dire does the state’s economy have to become? Going down the tubes, Californians still know how to do one thing: reach for the Democratic lever. As far as I’m concerned, that’s like grabbing an anvil when you’re drowning.

As an aside, I hope the GOP can find a place for Carly Fiorina: a big, big talent, she could be an asset to the party nationally. It was extremely hard to do what she tried to do: beat Barbara Boxer in California. She performed valiantly, I believe.

I assume you have Maine chalked up in red. I'm always very leery of the last, late returns and how they usually seem to turn out. In this case, both House seats stayed firmly in blue, so this may be too early to call. An example of this phenomenon is Connecticut which is probably going to end up with the Dems.

If it wasn't called then I probably overlooked it in my haste. The labels only represent who has the lead at time of posting and not a prediction.

Maine has been called - Republican
CT has been called - Democrat

Oregon - Rep. leading but with one district is left (77% complete). It is a D, so it could be possible for a Democratic win due to it population size and dem. leanings.

Minnesota - looks like a Democratic win

Illinois - Republican care every district 4 in state. Will likely lose. Remaining district is heavy Democrat.

Florida - 4 districts to finish counting. Looks like a Republican win though Palm Beach still has 4% remaining to be counted.

Vermont - 4 D and 5 R districts outstanding with 3,300 votes seperating the Dem and Rep. Based on population Dem with likley win.

Florida elects the Republican Scott. Alex Sink has conceded the race.

                  Florida called Republican.

Indeed, LaPage has actually increased his lead slightly, and color it red.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!! Foley has regained the lead in Connecticut, although only by about 7,000 votes, but race may not be over.

Dudley has held his margin in Oregon as well (also a little surprising), but your right, most of the districts left are strong Dems so that could easily change.

Pretty sure Minnesota and Illinois are done deals for the blue. If it's not in Illinois, the "machine" will take care of it anyway.
