Not just goodbye, but getting his arse blistered as he's thrown out the door.

I like how the Republicans are trying to charctarize this as a "Landmark Election" and how "America has Spoken!". Sounds awfully familiar to two years ago when the Dems took control.

Look all I am trying to say is that both political parties are, ideologically different, but they are very similar in the way they go about business in Washington....

Actually the numbers they are projected at winning are potentially at historic levels (depends if the projections really happen) - largest numbers since WW2. In 1994 Republicans won 52 seats and the pundits were in shock. Only difference this time people saw the writing on the wall that America is not happy with the Messiah.

Senate remain to be seen, but I believe they are projected to do better than normal. If Ried or Boxer loses it will be a very good night in the senate.

I think I heard mid-term gains average 3.5 and they're being projected to get 8-10 or something

                Its Been two years......

Also the only people calling Obama the Messiah are the Republicans.

But, I had better not voice my opinion in this right wing forum, for fear of being smeared.

Nobody would do that if you actually bring anything of substance to the table. Sadly, few of the left leaning posters on here even attempt to have civil discussion or debate. And there are a couple on the right who do the same. But most want to have civil dialogue. If you don't, so be it. But don't try to blame the rest of us for you not wanting to participate.

The fact is I don't know enough about the issues anymore, I actually was very well informed in 2008, but then Sophomore year started, and just got way to busy to keep up with anything.

For all I know I'm a Libertarian these days.

I do agree with you, most of my posts tonight have been Cliche full and lacking substance.

Sorry, but that made me laugh, and I am NOT laughing at you. Get back to me when you are 28-32 and let me know if you still thought you were "very well informed in 2008".

                        I was convinced I knew everything at 20. At 26 I finally realized I didn't know shat.

Of course now I have regained all the previous knowledge (and then some).

Well, I think you'll discover your family was a lot smarter than you might have given them credit for at this point. Nevertheless, keep trying to be engaged, make up your own mind, pick what's important to you, and when it's time to stand up and be counted, stand up and be counted.

And if you choose to vote more conservative, that's cool too. :D
