Senate +6 for Republican. Only thing that really stopped them was need more races.

Depending on what happens in AK and Wash and CO the Republicans will be somewhere between +5 to +8

AK is going to go back to Murkowski who appears to have won decisively as a write in candidate.

Colorado and Washington are still too close to call although 538 is saying both will end up in the hands of the Dems.

On the other hand, 538 says the House gains will end up between 64 and 66 seats. Amazing.

Also, there are still a stunningly high 7 Governors seats that are too close to call.

I have heard that if Murkowski does win she will go with the Republican party.

The GOP will win about I thought they would – but I hoped for more. NV is a disappointment; however, it should be a valuable lesson – choose your candidate wisely.

She better if she plans on winning again or even surviving return trips to her home state. You can disappear fairly easily in Alaska.

Anytime Sarah Palin wants to take Lisa out, all she has to do is run. It's what she should have done this time. If Lisa decides to caucus with the Dems, she has signed her own death warrant, politically speaking.

She has stated in articles that, if she wins, she fully plans on being a Republican, although running as an Independent could give her some wiggle room if it was really necessary.

If all the people that wrote her name in as a write-in candidate spelled her name right, she'll win. If their spelling is anything like it is on Shockernet, then Miller is going to win it.

Either way, it's a win-win for Republicans. I think the last poll before the election actually had Miller third. Given a choice, I guess the Alaskan voters decided they'd rather have a Republican.
