Why most actors are liberals

I heard Bill O'Reilly tackle this question this morning. His answer: Because they are required to be demonstrative, emotional people they tend to make decisions based on emotion instead of logic. Therefore, they fall prey to emotional causes such as global warming.

My take elaborates on this: Because actors have to 'live the lie' of convincing others that they are really someone else on stage or screen it is also much easier for them to 'live the lie' of liberalism. It is the lie that normal people simply cannot manage their lives and need help from other people who are obviously smarter and know what's best for you. You know, smart people like Al Gore, Jeannine Garafolo, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank and that joker from Minnesota, Al Franken.

These are also the people who spent lots of money for an Arts degree. Most really have no interest in making money to provide for others, but the ones that do seem to harbor a lot of guilt about it.

They were most likely in Drama in HS and have always been surrounded by people that think just like them.

Talk about diversity...
