  • Sharia law a better alternative to Christianity?

Did anyone else hear the Osgood File (1330am) on the way to work this morning?

He used the recent stem cell ruling to insinuate that we'd be better off under Sharia law than Christianity. I guess a belief system that doesn't value all life is the one we should be following, eh?

    I've never used the word before but I think it's appropriate here . . . Osgood is a lib-tard.

Our President doesn't value all life. Does that mean he favors Sharia Law?

Yeah, those countries under sharia law are such bastions for tolerance, minority rights, peace and stability. And their economies are so thriving.

Who is this guy? Did anyone ask him whether he approves of the subjugation of women and the often brutal punishment of “transgressors”, specifically homosexuals and apostates? While our laws forbid cruel and unusual punishments, does he realize that the brutality is not gratuitous, but intentional: It is meant to enforce Allah’s will by striking example.

The lengths that some in the liberal media are going to defend Sharia, etc. is baffling to me.

But maggie, Islam believes that an embryo is only a [i]potential[/b] human life. That mitigates all the silly stuff you mentioned.

What Osgood was really doing was taking an opportunity to demonize Christianity. Of course, he fails on a grand scale (as liberals usually do), when he plays to the recently accepted trump card among liberals - Islam.

Sharia doesn't hold life as sacred much like liberals....that's commonality. Not religion affecting court decisions.

"Hmm, maybe that's why Sharia has become so controversial: it's too liberal."

 I won't insult anyones intelligence by pointing out how utterly asinine this statement is – but it is all you really need to read.

After looking at the transcript it looks like these are the words of Dave Ross: Wikipedia ...your average northwest secular progressive member of the media who has run for elected office as a Democrat.

Wiki says he comes from a Catholic home, I don't know how they would take his views on embryonic stem cell research.
