And nothing will come of the commission anyway. I believe for them to make any formal recommendations 12 of the 18 have to agree or something like that and I'm guessing the key recommendations that may actuall help will fail due to partisanship.
The best hope for this country right now is to get enough members of the GOP in office this fall to try and balance things out and slow down what they can. Don't get me wrong, most of them are full of crap too, but at least it would keep the Dems from shoving thru more crap the country neither needs nor wants and may make them come back a little towards the center.
