  • Both Parties On Verge of Change?

Voters' Anti-Establishment Mood Bites Both Parties
Sounds like a number of incumbents on both sides face serious threats from within thier own. This is a VERY good thing I think.

It is a good thing. But narrative will be: The GOP is becoming more, gasp..cough..., radically conservative (because of the Teaparty) – starting with center-right columnists like Brooks and moving down the line to the left. These people need to dust off their beltway bubbles.

The majority of the country is in an anti-Washington, anti-incumbent mood. The GOP, if it wants to make historic gains in 2010 – and make a run at the White House in 2012 – had better understand this. It’s candidates can’t simply rely on the unpopularity of the policies of the party in power.

Is this the "Change You Can Believe In" that King Obama, Rev. Wright, George Soros and that terrorist friend of theirs from Chicago had in mind?

No, I think that the majority of the people are pretty upset with the status quo that has plagued both parties for many years. I think alot of people are tired of trying to solve the nations problems by using the same tired rhetoric and would like to see some fresh ideas from NEW people.

Angry Electorate Roars at Washington, Hands Setbacks to Establishment Candidates

The latest primaries were closely watched for clues to how angry the electorate is about a weak economy, record-high deficits, two ongoing wars and a Washington environment that critics say favors rhetoric over results.
