  • Economic Collapse?

I'm not sure where I stand on that thought although with the way things are headed I know which way I'm leaning. I think part of me doesn't want to believe it's possible. But this poll shows that many fear it could happen. Very large percentages of Dems, Reps and Indys.

Take it for what it's worth but I hadn't really seen much talk about this sort of thing in a while but those numbers made me stop and think about it some. But, with the continued expansion of the federal gov't and their plans to continue growing things and spending money we are in a lot of trouble and things aren't going to be pretty.

I can understand why - for the poorly educated times are really rough.

Here is one story I would like to share. Back in the 80's my family used to go to the area around Rockport and Aransas Pass all the time to see my brother who lived down there. Those towns were completely jammed with shrimp boats. Last year I went down to Texas for my brother's funeral and I could hardly believe my eyes. All the boats were gone and Aransas Pass could only be described as a "ghostown" - nothing but boarded up businesses.

Hello national sales tax or VAT. With Obama double-counting the Medicare money in his healthcare plan, we will have no choice.

So much for campaign promises. This was the plan all along so transparency goes out the window as well.

Insurance companies will either go out of business or become utility companies totally regulated by the government.
