    Surely the execs at CNN are digging into why they went from #1 in news to watching Fox bury them across the board.

      Even after Fox news passed up CNN about 8 years ago, CNN for years still did great during emergencies or big news stories (like Katrina etc.).

      They were still the news channel that the casual watchers would turn to for news in emergencies.

      But now that has even changed. During the past year FOX news has even been beating them during those emergency news days or big news stories (like election day, the political conventions, state of the union, haiti earthquake etc.).

        I actually wished there was a news channel that actually just did the news (around the world). No political commentaries, no politics, no talking heads trying to spin the news - kind of what CNN Headline News was in its inception.
