Mohamed El Baradaei retired on Dec 1 and his successor (Yukiya Amano ) is now saying they fear
"Iran may be working now to develop a nuclear-armed missile, the agency said on Thursday, throwing independent weight behind Western suspicions of an active Iranian weapons program."

In view of the picture of Islam painted at yesterday's Landmark's Commission hearing and in the mainstream media, it is useful to recall this famous statement from the Ayatollah Khomeini: Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so...

Never fear, the Obama Missile Defense System has been operational for more than a year now. He will simply talk the missile out of the sky.

A new intelligence estimate is about to come out on Iran to replace the last one completed under Bush.

I read a good article on why the intelligence estimate was so wrong under Bush (sorry don't have a link), but the guys who were doing it had an agenda. It was basically Intelligence Malpractice.

Random thoughts on almost anything and everything, with an emphasis on defense, intelligence, politics and national security matters..providing insight for the non-cleared world since 2005.

At last report, the U.S. and its allies were developing "new and tougher" sanctions against Tehran. But if the new IAEA report is correct (and it mirrors recent intelligence reporting on the Iranian nuclear program), then the window for sanctions has largely closed, and it may be time to consider the unthinkable--military action against Iran.

Unfortunately, that option won't fly at the White House, or the U.N. Security Council. That's why the Iranians are laughing all the way to the nuclear finish line.
