    Marty,

You are kind of pathetic and clearly not one who can read through the so-called journalism by the true whack-jobs on the left.

I understand some of the left who don't agree with her or maybe don't like her. But you aren't being very thoughtful or realistic not to recognize why many like her.

What exactly makes her a whack job?

I am sure she wouldn't triple the national debt, she wouldn't try to take over our health care system, she would advocate the largest tax increase in the nation's history in the guise of controlling carbon emissions, which will actuatlly do nothing to change climate.

She wouldn't try to own the auto industry; she wouldn't wimp out on Iran,

She wouldn't stack her press conferences with pre-arranged questions from the whack-job left.

She wouldn't raise taxes on all income groups, as Obama has already done and proposes more.

I don't know how much more "hope & change", this country can take. I am considering cutting 4 more position/jobs "employees", people with families at the end of next week. I wander if I can borrow your little jug-eared leaders teleprompter for just exactly the right words to say, meaningless as they may be?

Happy Independence Day America, if you believe the voting numbers and think ACORN didn't rig the election...52% of you voted for this weasel!
You're right, the economy just started going south when President Obama took office.

Palin won't get the nod based on the fact that she won't even say why she left her elected office early. Do we really want a president that won't even fulfill her obligations to the least populated state in the Union?

And, she has questionable ethics already...and she's not even in Washington yet.

Really? Sounds like left-wing propaganda to me.

In the wake of Governor Palin stepping down from her job, new allegations have surfaced today in Alaska charging Palin with additional violations of the Alaska Executive Ethics Act.

Zane Henning -- a conservative government watchdog from the governor's hometown of Wasilla and an oilfield worker on Alaska's North Slope -- asserts in a letter to Alaska Attorney General Daniel S. Sullivan that Palin has "been charging and pocketing per diem to live in her home and has used the process for a personal gain since being elected."
                  LIBERAL propaganda huh?

"Every one of these – all 15 of the ethics complaints – have been dismissed," Palin asserted. She didn't mention that she had to reimburse the state more than $8,000 for her children's air travel to settle one, and that at least some others dealt with substantial policy questions, like accusations that the governor's staff was engaging in partisan political activity.

Gov. Sarah Palin, three days after abruptly announcing she would resign as governor, said Monday that she did it because ethics complaints and politically ambitious state legislators would have been paralyzing.

With off-topic threads, I think it is best to read the title, ignore all previous postings and provide an answer based on the title.

                      Who will run in 2012?
I think I will. I've run in the RiverRun previously and I think I'm up for it in 2012.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

                          1. She's not a savior of anything.

                          2. Ethics complaints against a perceived political threat are SOP.

                          3. How horrible of her to solicit private funds and not ask for taxpayer funds to defend herself, as the investigator suggests.

Didn't Bill Clinton utilize the same strategy during his impeachment/legal troubles while POTUS?

It sounds more like Alaska needs to tweak its ethics laws.

Palin back in the news: With four days until she officially leaves office, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is dealing with another ethics investigation. The AP reports that an independent investigator “has found evidence that … Palin may have violated ethics laws by accepting private donations to pay her legal debts. The report obtained by The Associated Press says Palin is securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust, set up by supporters.” Per NBC’s Norah O’Donnell, Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton issued this response: "I cannot verify the validity of this claim. There is no final report. The investigator is still confidentially reviewing this matter. It appears suspect that in the final days of the governor's term, someone would again violate the law and announce a supposed conclusion before it is reached."

I know this should be moved to the other forum and I'm sure it will.

Republicans Uncertain Over Who Should Challenge Obama in 2012

It appears as of right now most don't have anyone in mind to lead the charge. I'm curious to see when more things begin to take shape and who will come forward and announce they'll make a run. It's still a bit of a ways off but considering how early many started last time who knows when it'll happen this time.

At this point I don't care who runs from the GOP. I would be happy with Socks the cat....at least Socks isn't a radical socialist bent on destroying the USA.
