Yeah, I am going to be alone on this one.

I used to listen to her years ago. She is straightforward, blunt, honest and tells (mostly women) what they don't want to hear and what they deperately need to hear.

In today's politically correct, don't offend anyone or anything, she is bound to step on toes.

I promise you, if there were more Dr. Laura's and less everyone else, the world would be a better place.

I listened to the call...the entire call. Nothing she said, in my mind, wasn't true. I agree, she went overboard to make a point, but that's all she did and in no way, shape or form did she intend to be offensive. Her point was valid, her delivery of that point was below average and she apologized for that. I guess it is the price you pay for being out there and speaking your mind so bluntly.

I think most of us agree with that Doc. I've never listened to her and know nothing about her. But if you say these types of things you're going to face the concequences like it or not. Her first amendment rights haven't been violated and that was the point of the Gregalogue.

On tolerance, my Russian friend said, "Tolerance is like not flushing the toilet after you go to the bathroom. If it's a turd you should flush it. Don't tolerate the turd just because it's there. Flush it...it's a turd."

The whole Dr. Laura thing is, in my opinion, an example where everyone involved is taking advantage of their constitutionally protected freedoms. I may not agree with the wisdom of some of the actions, but freedom is a wonderful thing.
