I thought this was really funny.
The creator of the bull sculpture (Arturo Di Modica) was offended by fearless girl and I don't blame him. Putting this statue up for an extended period of time without anyone (including Bill DiBlasio) understanding the artist's conception or what engaged him in the first place was totally wrong. Alex Gardega's pi$$ing pug is in the same vein as the fearless girl statue.
Note Di Modica is really fired up about this and has filed a lawsuit against the city of New York.
Predictably, some of the liberal rags jumped right on this and demanded the pi$$ing pug statue be removed:
So when does the invasion of an artist's creative vision in the name of political correctness become a problem?
I guess when the shoe is on the other foot, judging from the reaction (i.e. the 'pug' statue was removed).
I would like to see what everyone else thinks.
