Ran across this and thought I would share it:

Sports on the left tend to be favored by Democrats (WNBA, tennis, soccer, etc) while ones on the right are favored by Republicans (golf, college football, NASCAR). If the stats are correct it is interesting that college basketball seems to be more of a centrist sport but professionally skews to the left. Curious if anyone else has some thoughts on it.

What's the y-axis definition? It is the likelihood of a given sport's fan to physically turn out for a vote? As in LPGA fans really turn out on Election Day, but WWE fans don't?

Correct - golf fans tend to vote far more as a group then WWE fans according to that graph.

WWE fans have to constantly worry about getting suplexed onto a metal folding chair by large men on steroids in tight singlets, so voting, naturally, takes a back seat.
