I would say that Michelle Obama's speech has been the biggest highlight of the DNC so far.

I think I would pay to see those emails:yahoo:

Joe Biden just gave a pretty good speech. I think maybe the Democrats chose the wrong person. I have a feeling Joe would be smoking Trump right now if he were there candidate.

Michael Bloomberg's endorsement of Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, is pretty boring so far. I think he was wise not to run and save his money.

Some of Bloomberg's lines have been pretty good but even those lines he delivered badly. For example he said "we need a problem solver not a bomb thrower". Good line, bad delivery. "The richest thing about Donald Trump is his hypocracy", good line, better delivery but still not good. "She understands that this isn't reality television, this is reality" . He had several more, but each time he comes across as reading lines, not giving a speech.

DNC voicmail system was hacked - wikileaks has started releasing some of the messages.

I thought Tim Kaine's speech was okay, but Biden's was much better.

Yes, but he was never really a Democrat. Only registered D to use their infrastructure. Almost pulled it off.

Biden and Obama both did a great job tonight. I think they have set the bar too high for Hillary. I just can't imagine anyway her speech tomorrow can come close to what these guys did tonight. I am not an Obama fan, but he can give a speech. And some of it even moved me. This has to increase the pressure on Hillary. If I was her I would try and figure out a way to cancel her speech.

WOW! The last night of the DNC was far more patriotic, uplifting and positive than the RNC was a week ago. I even heard God and scripture mentioned far more at the DNC than the RNC. I even liked Hillary's speech (except for the fact that I disagree with her on most issues).

It is weird but tonight I felt like I found the Republican Convention that seemed to disappear last week. I felt uplifted tonight like I did years ago watching Ronald Reagan speak at the Republican Conventions in the 1980s.

The Democrats put on a really good show. Unfortunately underneath the show is still a big government party but at least it was a positive message of using government to help people in need. They talked about freedom and patriotism. Last week, I felt like I was watching a guy who wanted to implement a dictatorship. Trump's vision is so doom and gloom and of a very authoritarian big government. I don't believe Trump uttered the words Liberty or Freedom even once. He was all law and order.

I watched most of the Republican Convention. I only watched a little bit of the DNC on Monday, even less on Tuesday (maybe none), a lot more on Wednesday, but I watched about 4 hours of it tonight. I kind of wish I had watched more of it, it was very positive and uplifting. The DNC had police officers speak, the parents of a soldier killed in action, ministers, military officers, Republicans, Independents, and of course Democrat politicians. It was just a much better and more positive show.

My daughter said the same thing. But I reminded her that is what happens when you have the full force of Hollywood behind you - they are the experts of putting on great shows, they can suspend reality and make you believe anything. But eventually you have to leave the theater and back to the real world and reality.
