There is some really wild and crazy things going on and since we no longer have an objective press in this country it is really diffiucult to know for sure what is going on.

However, my gut tells me that Jim Comey, who seems to have been co-opted by the current powers in place, would never make an announcement that the FBI was re-opening their investigation of Hillary Clinton's e-mail account with 11 days remaining before election day unless he believed (or knows) there is a major bombshell that was probably going to detonate unless he took such a move. What that bombshell might be who knows.

One thing that is a fact is that prison probably terrifies pedophiles more than just about anything else. Pedophiles are not well-liked inside Prison walls (to put it mildly). They typically will sing like song birds if they think that will keep them out jail. I suspect Anthony Weiner is no exception.

The other thing is that there are other elements involved in the Weiner case that my make it more difficult for the DOJ and FBI to whitewash this re-opened investigation the way they did their first bite of the apple. Speculation is that the NYPD and the U.S. Attorney's office for the Soutern District of New York have already seen the information on Weiner's device (pun intended) as part of their criminal investigation of Weiner and that they have copies of said information giving them some leverage in how the FBI should proceed in this. It's possible that Obama, Clinton, Lynch and Comey have lost their ability to control the situation.

Not to mention the fact that rumblings indicate that Comey may have an internal mutiny brewing within the FBI.

Time will tell and perhaps this kind of speculation is a bridge too far. But, in any case, you might want to stock of on popcorn till this is resolved.

A pardon makes this all go away, but does Obama dare do it before an election? No way, that would make her look guilty (which we know she is but that would sort of cement it).

If she wins, I bet he immediately pardons her -- for the right price. If she lose though, does he pardon her to make this stop? He has nothing to lose at that point, and neither does she. It would short circuit Trump's ability to go after her too, which is actually probably a good thing.

I think so. I read up on that a looong time ago and my memory fails me, but I had it in my brain that a president could sort of preempt an investigation with a pardon. Maybe I am not remembering correctly though.

When I read “pardon”, this ‘old classic’ immediately passed through my pea brain; even some of the lyrics are on topic. “I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden..." Maybe Obama can serenade Hillary with the chorus.

If half of what's being reported is true, I'm surprised they're not ALL supporting Trump. What I want to know is to what media group is this news. Are the agents in the FBI not supposed to vote? No articles needed on who the DOJ (all the way up to the Unifier) is pulling for.
