He's a showman. There is nothing new here.

I'm not sure what you mean by stopping him. He has more people who seem to support him than the others. If he has35% of the vote, that means there are 75% with other candidates.

If there were only two running, then we'd know for sure if a majority of the people support him. I have a feeling after the way he went after G.W. Bush, it is going to be harder than ever to unite the Republicans. He's very effective at attacking his opponents (not on policy), by calling them liars, and now siding with the TOWER TRUTHERS against President Bush.

To me the video looks like Trump is firing up blue collar males and drawing them to his cause.

If you start looking in the detail behind the polls for SC you see the following:

      1. People won't admit they like trump (he has highest unfavorable).

      2. People identifying themselves as independents - 50% are going to Trump

      3. 68% want a candidate to stand up to the democrats, they see Trump as that guy.

      4. 58% Say Trump is prepared to be President, 28% not. Cruz is next closes 57/27 splits. Rubio 39/41 split

      5. 60% say Trump is part of the solution (highest from Republican candidates).

You can quote all the stats you want. By the time, Trump is finished with his "Scorched Earth" Policy, a significant portion of the Republican Party will not follow him. I predict a "Brokered Convention" and a divided Party.

In Nevada, recent poll says 45 percent of probable cacus goers favor Trump. I'm starting to beleive it's going to be Trump or a brokered convention.
          In the fast lane

btw, your 75% is 65%. Their not stats, and don't kill the messenger, I'm just telling what people are telling the pollsters. If the republicans want to stop him - they need to decide on a single candidate to go forward with now and get the others to step down - IMO the only choice is Rubio.

Xenophobia, or "anything else" is not "racist". That abuse of the term has the average American pissed off. Hence the eff you candidate. I doubt you can quote anything that Trump has said that is "racist", but if you can, I'm genuinely interested.

Now we can discuss xenophobia, but that's a whole other animal.

It would see them Dems are much more divided at this point.

This is exactly what I predicted, lol.

Donald Trump stated that the Mexicans coming to the US are rapists. If Donald Trump sees a "Mexican" on the street, he, therefore, is less trusting of that person than he is of a white person. If you don't believe that's racist, I refuse to engage you in this discussion. Similarly, if you don't believe xenophobia or prejudice against Muslims are just as dangerous as overt racism, there's nothing I can do to convince you.

Feel free to support whomever you'd like to.

Anyone catch the clip where Trump directly analogized Carson's "pathological" anger issues with child molestation and absolutely tore his character to shreds?

Might have been the most vicious personal attack I've seen so far in the campaign.

Not even close to the same thing. Yes, there are democrats who support Sanders and others who support Clinton. But they don't attack each other. At this time Sanders doesn't even bring up the e-mail problem. Republicans are calling each other liars, Trump is siding with Truthers against Bush, etc, etc.

While I agree the right is currently more divided, the dems are absolutely attacking each other. It's becoming fairly fractured.

I think a Rubio/Kasich ticket could win in November

I am not supporting ANY candidate at this point, but the friction between HC and BS is foreplay compared to the friction that took place between HC and BO in 2008. Both literally and figuratively...

It is their only chance, and only then if Trump doesnt go Independent.

Sure, it was an easy prediction, just as it was easy for me to predict that you would change the conversation from "racism" to "xenophobia", which are two different animals.

Those are YOUR words, not his. You are making up a dialogue and inserting it into someone else's mouth.

Of course, because you want to change the subject to xenophobia because you know the word racist was completely abused.

They aren't the same thing, and whether I believe any of it is irrelevant to the discussion of whether Trump is a racist.

And likewise, if you believe that creating awareness of the economic and social damage caused by ILLEGAL immigration (from ANY country, any race, and any religion) can only be framed as a form of racism or xenophobia, then there's nothing I can do to convince you.
