        Trump's final posts

        • Trump is trying to change his image maybe? I always thought half of his image was put on purposefully, by him. Trump went from a bully (calling others names like he likes to do) with his own past supporters a couple of weeks ago, where he wanted to keep others from running to now, putting on a less bullying image, after Ron DeSanctomonious kind of put him in his place. I think he will wear people out pretty quickly, and lose even more support, if he continues with his past name calling ways. He actually started his race too soon imo, to keep the momentum for two years. We will see if it lasts.

Mike Pompeo was totally loyal to Trump at one time, but he's now he's flexing his individual muscle a little. Even he is bringing out the knives a little, and showing a little Presidential ambition. He was quoted just after the midterms that he thought elections would change, and mentioned that Kansas had elected a Democrat Governor with a dominating Republican State legislature. I'm sure he still has some political friends in Kansas from his past.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday fired a warning shot at former President Donald Trump, indicating he believed the former president was responsible for the Republican Party losing elections. “We were told we’d get tired of winning. But I’m tired of losing,” Pompeo wrote. “And so are most Republicans.” Though it did not mention Trump by name, it references a famous line Trump used on the campaign trail in 2016, when he would tell the crowd at his rallies that “we’re gonna win so much, you may even get tired of winning.” His comments came ahead of a speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting.

Trump has 81 million followers on Twitter. Biden has 36 million. Trump hasn’t been on here since 2021 and you expect me to believe Joe somehow got 81 million votes.

              • The jury has reached a verdict in the New York hush-money star chamber Not yet announced.

                My guess is guilty.

Verdict: Guilty on all 34 counts. Now what he is guilty of is still somewhat of a mystery.

Was there a bump in the polls for him after that verdict?

                  • 12 hours of deliberation. Man, they didn't have their minds made up lol. I spent 2 weeks in deliberation in a unemployment fraud case.

We live in bizarro world times. I'm not sure there is a way out.

The only reason they spent 12 hours was to make it seem like they were deliberating. No way anyone on that jury was going to go against the grain, not if they want to continue living in Manhattan.

                        • I will first say, I'm not a fan of Trump. Didn't vote for him, and still won't. But in no way was he going to get a fair trial in NY. No way did the jury take their job seriously and deliberate each count. The judge is absolutely trying to influence an election by setting sentencing four days prior to the GOP convention.

And in all likelihood, he's now going to get elected. But I have no idea how this will play out Constitutionally if the conviction holds after what will certainly be a lengthy appeals process.

I'm just going to throw this out there only because you are the first one on this board to say what I highlighted. I say this as someone who did not vote for Trump the first time (voted 3rd party). I feel we are at a crossroads as a nation and of our freedoms. This was a politically cooked up trial. It was created and condoned by Trump's political foes. If one is now not voting for Trump, I feel you are condoning what just happened as "business as usual" by the Democrat party. It needs to be stopped at the polls. We may not be able to stop it otherwise in the future.

None of the twelve could begin to tell you what he is guilty of because it was NEVER defined. Sad day. We are all seeing the new model for destroying ANY candidate and ANY conservative.

Several points: 1. I think everyone knows this get overturned on appeal. 2. That even NeverTrumpers who would never vote for Trump know this is a travesty means that lawfare by any means is on the table for the foreseeable future. (And that's very bad.)
