I can't find much philosophical or ideological difference between Tiahrt and Pompeo.

Now that the money trail behind Tiahrt is out in the open, what did Pompeo do to irritate Wink Hartman so badly?

Back in my other life, my boss was both a prikk and a big Republican donor. (I guess I am a Republican and a donor also). Tihart called my f-ing boss and wanted a place to deer hunt. My boss "asked" me if I had a place. I folded. When Tihart showed up at our offices, I drove out in the country 12 miles with him following me. I got to the spot, stopped, asked him what else he needed, etc, and he basically blew me off, no handshake, no thank you, just marched off into the woods. I never heard from him again. He can go fukk himself.

They are so similar it's funny. In a world where we have all of these varying levels of "republican," (from John McCain to Chris Christie to Mitt Romney to Bush to Huckabee to Rubio to Hannity or Limbaugh, etc.) this particular race seems like knowing that you want a diet coke and you just have to pick between Diet Coke, Coke Zero or Caffeine Free Diet Coke.

I figure there must be some serious personality difference between the two, but the politics are very similar, right?

Yes, they are both fairly conservative but seem to work the halls of power when it benefits them.

If there is a difference, I do believe it's in background and personality.

interesting tool, but found their metric a little distorted. Using it I found Pompeo voted with majority of republicans on 6 out 8 bills listed, only things he voted against the republican majority was:

voted against 2013 farm bill (june)

voted against Hurricane sandy relief
