Of course there are "government jobs", but I think we have a different idea of how jobs are created.

Because government is so good at creating jobs and delivering healthcare, we should make them do it. I'm all for nationalizing all commerce and mandating single payer healthcare, where you will be treated by government employed healthcare workers. On weekends, we can go to the government run cinemas and watch government produced and directed movies.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Think of all the jobs that would create!

          I know!!!

I've been thinking about this all wrong! When all the writers are writing all the books, edited and published by the government, we'll have plenty of books! And since the government will be responsible for all the other media, we will have plenty of unbiased coverage! No more complaining about CNBC and Fox!

What was I thinking? This is great!
