  • KU prof put on leave after Navy Yard tweet

Pretty classless thing to say, and then respond like this:

Guth said Thursday that gun rights advocates had orchestrated a social media campaign against him.

"I respect their First Amendment rights and it would be nice if they would respect mine," Guth said. "And, by the way, I even respect their Second Amendment rights.

"Frankly, my plan is to be the calm in the center of the storm," Guth said. [emphasis mine]

What a jackass. I love how he's trying to take the high road after delivering a low blow. He's not a victim even if he wants to play one.

Of course he's not a victim. He's a liberal a-hole who wants to capitalize on the victimization of others and turn his political and philosophical adversaries into victims.

That is certainly one heck of a tweet.

          "The medium is the message"

You have a platform which unquestionably thrives on unfiltered accounts, often uncorroborated accounts, delivered instantaneously to the world... and then somehow folks forget how that works. A journalism professor should know better. In fact, that is what I find the most offensive here... this dude was supposed to be the bastion of how this stuff works... the exemplar of practice.

          Weirdo.
I think Pringles original intention was to make tennis balls... but on the day the rubber was supposed to show up a truckload of potatoes came. Pringles is a laid-back company, so they just said, "**** it, cut em up!" - MH
