    100%

And his attempt at humiliating everybody else in the world is going to pay dividends. And I don't mean the good kind. His threats of tariffs is akin to running around in a locked building with a flamethrower. The only difference is, the American People are the ones that will burn, not him. He's just a rich kid with a big mouth.

So in two years halfway through his term, a small decision or two would be approved? Sounds like something Biden would do during his 10-4 daily regimen every other day (when he’s in between afternoon naps)

Hours after President Donald Trump had said he would impose a potentially crippling 25% tariff on Canadian goods, the Minnesota Wild faced off against the Ottawa Senators. As the Star-Spangled Banner began playing to a sold-out crowd, the Canadian audience started booing — heavily. The same thing happened at games in Ontario, and Calgary, and Alberta.

Ostensibly, Trump’s reason for the tariff threat is illegal immigration and fentanyl trafficking. Both are serious issues, but Canada plays little role in either problem. Canadians have noticed.

But Canadians have special cause to be irate. They are fed up with President Donald Trump’s barrage of threats to their economy and their very sovereignty.

What started as a “joke” has taken on weight and structure as Trump continues to push the notion that Canada — physically larger than the US, with 10 provinces and 39 million people — should “become our Cherished 51st state.” Now liquor stores in Vancouver are emptying shelves of American stock and carry signs urging customers to “Buy Canadian.” Canadians are canceling trips to the US and boycotting American goods. They feel betrayed — and who can blame them? Canada has been a longtime US ally, friend and top trading partner.

        Such a moron...

Dude, Trump defeated Canada like 15 topics ago.

We are now getting free use of the Panama Canal and finding massive amounts of dirty USAID money flowing to all the liberal media outlets.

              Keep up!

Pretty sure Mexico already had 15K troops at the border. All they've done is shifted them around to make Trump feel better about his threats working.

It did give Trump a headline to use though I suppose, even though it's done nothing along the border that wasn't already being done in Mexico.

No, they had zero military presence. Their law enforcement at the border is NMI and they are unarmed and small in number. 10k troops by Mexico is a massive increase in enforcement by Mexico.

Having the Mexican "military" help us with our drug importation problem is about as stupid as thinking a physical wall will stop border crossers. As you alluded to, these are just political stunts to appease a very uninformed base. In the case of the wall, a very expensive political stunt.

Thinking folks are aware that Mexican law enforcement is wholly corrupt. That includes Federales. The "Mexican Military"??? LMFBO! Much worse.

News Flash: The Mexican drug cartels have infected the pols and control law enforcement. So why would anybody think the MiLiTaRy would aid in stopping the flow?

They would be signing their death warrants.

We control OUR border on OUR side. If the Mexicans wanna have a party on the other side with a bunch of cartel sympathizers, have at it. But this is just a stunt. Likely just to massage Trump's ego as you alluded to.

                            Sad.

Dude, this is like 10 topics ago. Trump has already solved the border crisis and crossings are down over 90% in just 10 days. It's just maintenance from here on out.

Now how about all that USAID dark money tax payers have been losing their ass on for decades?

Just finished my thoughts on the matter!

If border crossings are down, it's due to actions on our side, not theirs. It's really a fairly simple task. I think Trump said he was sending the military to the border? A simple battalion of Apaches making runs up and down, radioing in disturbances to Border Patrol would suffice. Although there's an even easier/cheaper method which I've already explained.
