Why does media call this guy a veteran? My understanding is that he signed up for the navy in the delayed entry program but was discharged before ever shipping out to boot camp. If that's true, why was he discharged? There is a reason, medical, mental, criminal past, or other.

From the little I have heard, both the dead truck driver murderer in New Orleans and the driver of the Cyber Truck in Vegas were "veterans" and both rented (or had someone else rent) the vehicles thru Turo (something like an AirBNB for cars I think). To which driver are you referring, or does that comment relate to both drivers?

Kung, the Trump hotel didn't even have glass break. UFB but I bet Telsa stock is sky high right now because that's the best commercial I've ever seen for toughness.

And they tried to shoot Trump and just nicked his ear. Someone tried to blow up his Hotel and didn't even break ****ing glass.

But Biden should be on Mount Rushmore.

Now. I read he was in the army for a few years. Does the media actually investigate or just make shi+ up?

How did LEO determine the Tesla incident was intentional and not a tragic accident by a dumbbell?

Find a different news source. There is some media that never fact check anything. They run with it and if they are wrong, at least they were first in their disinformation.

He served on active duty and reserves. There is pictures of him with the 82nd airborne.

The guy rented the truck in Colorado, drove to Las Vegas. Video surveillance caught him entering the city at 7:30am, went past the Trump Hotel about an hour prior to the explosion, continued back and forth on the strip, and then coming back to the hotel entrance where the incident occurred 15 seconds after stopping. It was holding fuel canisters for camping and fireworks. It’s not even a question that it was intentional and law enforcement has said as much.

For being an active Army member apart of the elite green berets, he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed given his techniques to harm/kill thankfully.

The only question now, given the two military backgrounds with both rented vehicles and attacks happening within hours each other on New Years Day, is if the two knew each other and/or the attacks are related.
              Deuces Valley.
              ... No really, deuces.

Thanks! Had no idea what the background on that was.

Latest report on the Vegas suicide bomber is that he put a bullet in his head as he detonated the explosives in his Cybertruck.

Disney and ESPN are being called out. Maybe if everyone would have kneeled, and chanted an anti-American slogan, during the National Anthem, they would have televised it?

WSU doesn't play the national anthem any more with the players on the court. They do it well before when there are no players on the court. I assume they do this because they are afraid of players kneeling (or something) and offending their fans.

New Orleans had top-of-the-line barriers to prevent car attacks — but didn’t use them on New Year’s

New Orleans had access to effective anti-vehicle barriers ahead of the Bourbon Street attack on New Year’s Eve revelers that killed at least 14 people and wounded dozens more, but the city did not deploy those barriers until a day after the carnage unfolded, and the head of the local police department said she had been unaware of them.

The L-shaped Archer barriers that were installed one day later are portable, reusable and designed to stop a car that is careening toward a pedestrian-only area. The 700-pound steel barriers, which are certified by the Department of Homeland Security, were credited with preventing casualties in a similar incident last year in California at the Rose Parade.

Who said anything about WSU or all athletic national anthems. This sounds like something CB would say.

This was a unique case and tragic attack on an iconic American city that killed at least 15 Americans, and wounded multitudes more. Both teams fan bases were united, and followed up the National Anthem with the chant, USA, USA, USA. While, I wasn't allowed to watch it on television, a flag was brought out by the Notre Dame team.
