Wichita Police has created a taskforce to target shoplifting this holiday season.

1. KAKE imbedded a reporter with them and they saw 16 arrests, $53,000 worth of property recovered.
2. Since mid-october, the taskforce has made ~120 arrests and recovered $1.6 million dollars of stolen goods.
3. One person who was arrested started their spree in houston and on their way to Wichita hit multiple cities until they were arrested in Wichita.
