She is nuts. A patriot? I would like to hear your point of view about the items pointed out in the WSJ article.

      • Figuring out who should be the head of our spy agencies is way above my paygrade, but by gosh it better be someone extremely loyal to Trump. The leaks his last term constantly undermining him and causing distractions were awful. 51 intelligence agents signed a political document to prevent the truth? Senior FBI agents signing off on FISA warrants with apriori knowledge that the basis is fraudulent? DEI policy making a joke of our secret service?

Loyalty is critical this go around. And please burn the current leadership to the ground.

        • Linda McMahon for Department of Education

Rumors circulating that Dan Bongino will be named in charge of Veteran Affairs, Mike Tyson is in line for HUD, Bret Maverick for Indian Affairs (only after he learned Chief Jay Strongbow passed away) and Hulk Hogan for head of the newly formed Department of Eating your Vegetables and Taking Your Vitamins. He plans to work in conjunction with RFKJr.

In May 2018 Ms. Gabbard wrote, “Israel needs to stop using live ammunition in its response to unarmed protesters in Gaza.” Later that week Hamas admitted most of the dead were its members. It had sent them to breach the Gaza border in an operation presaging the Oct. 7 attack. Ms. Gabbard maligned Israel for daring to prevent it.

Bret Maverick would be great. He has a very good relationship with the Natives, and will call any bluffs.

One last time. What is there about #2 your not getting? Site me some 2024 anti Israel rhetoric and I might reconsider my view of her. She was a Democrat in 2018 and that explains a lot. Being a Dem means following the party lines and she gave that up.

You go back 8 years to criticize Gabbard. Could she have changed? I’m not sure of several of Trump’s appointments, and Omarosa was the worst pick he could have made in 2016. However, Biden never met even with his Cabinet (actually once a year), and he had awful policies (decisions) during his Presidency. Trump can’t do worse, and I’m hoping he has better instincts in 2024. Too many Republicans act like members of the Lincoln Project, and a splintered Republican Congress will be in worse shape than we were from 2020-2024.

                        • First it is six years ago, not eight. What has she said lately that Gabbard is pro-Israel? What has she said to walk back her comments about Gaza, Iran or Assad in Syria? She simply isn't the right pick, in my opinion.

"Ms. Gabbard has been wrong about the rest of the world too. She opposed Mr. Trump’s wise decision to leave the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces missile treaty with Russia amid clear evidence that Vladimir Putin was violating the pact. She said Mr. Trump’s decision “heightens the danger of a nuclear holocaust.”

Mere hours after Russia invaded Ukraine, Ms. Gabbard blamed NATO: “This war and suffering could have easily been avoided if Biden admin/NATO had simply acknowledged Russia’s legitimate security concerns regarding Ukraine’s becoming a member of NATO.” In 2019 she warned that Mr. Trump’s China trade policies could “escalate into a hot war.”"

Maybe you’re right. Trump has made some bad appointment decisions, and it is your (actually Other Republicans in Congress) job to thwart his agenda.

Biden’s agenda was a really bad one, and I don’t remember any opposition to his Day 1 on the job ( stopping the pipeline and hundreds of other inflationary changes), (opening up the border), etc., his appointments (like Rachel Levine and the trans athletes-wow that was a doozy), etc. With no Democrat opposition, and many Republicans not fighting against him, his agenda was pushed through. NOW some Republicans(you and others) oppose him now, while the Democrat opposition FIGHTS.

Bottomline is that Democrats play the game for long term wins (American people lose). Republicans splinter off on many different angenda’s, and long term, lose.
