Some thoughts on the overwhelming passage of Prop 36 in California. Every county voted majority YES. That means the most liberal San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Los Angeles. Everyone wants shoplifting, looting, and open drug use to stop.

I know it's a 4D chess move legalizing drugs so you can assure the purity, identify the users, knock out the dealers, and perhaps tax the Holy hell out of them eventually... but any scenario like that is VERY messy from the start. Who wants a bunch of drug addicts rolling around the streets (SanFran?) for 10 years until they see the fruits - if any - of their strategy. I sure don't.

Make the penalty 100 years in prison for dealing/trafficking/cooking drugs and 50 for using and be done with it. Oh wait... we just let a bunch of druggies out during Trump's term didn't we? Talk about an effing 180 degree Republican turn. Trumpian sheeple have absolutely lost their way. Half of them are probably users themselves.

Trump received 45% percent of the vote in Illinois, and Republicans will only have 3 out of 17 House seats (18%). ......Gerrymandering?

I'm not exactly sure what that chart is saying, but I've watched this race closely and at no time has Kari Lake been in the lead (unless it was briefly right out of the gate). She's been behind the entire time. She was getting closer, very, very marginally closer, until the weekend. Then Gallego's lead almost doubled overnight. The vast majority of the outstanding votes were from Maricopa where Gallego is strongest. I'm not saying there aren't a ton of questions to be answered in Arizona. No doubt about it. And it is VERY difficult to see Trump win a state wide election by 200K votes while Kari loses the same ballots by 100K. But unfortunately, that's what is happening.
