It was a busy road (I think 4 lane), and his car was on the shoulder outside the 5th or 6th hole, not far from the fence line where his nest set, with a couple of bullet proof tiles on the fencing to protect him. He could have waited for hours I guess. The SS surely would have had someone driving around that stretch of road at least occasionally, since it was just on a couple of holes.Comment

In this case, it's not a matter of they "can't". It's a matter of they "chose not to".
