  • Republican Iowa Caucus

The Republican kick-off event. The thing to watch for is Trump over 50% and who finishes 2nd.

  • #2

    Desantis is offering free rides.

Haley is making get-out-to-vote calls (so far 40,000).

Trump is calling caucus captains and thanking them. He is supposed to do one interview today. There are reports he is showing fatigue and is suffering mobility in his right leg. So it will be interesting to see how he looks in the interview.

When VP Kamala Harris was asked what she thought about the Iowa caucus, she blushed and started giggling. The interviewer quickly responded, "No! It's caucus! I said caucus!"

Iowa has already been called for Trump.

Haley and Desantis are neck and neck so far for 2nd place.

These results probably keep DeSantis in the race. Haley is staying in until after New Hampshire.

Trump won 98 of 99 counties and lost the one county by one vote (to Nikki Haley).

I wish it would have been down to Trump/Desantis a long time ago.

The candidates spent $1,124 for each vote. The weather impacted the vote, only the most motivated came out to vote (15% of Registered Republicans voted).

Trump had a pretty significant win. Even if you added Haley and Desantis votes together, Trump only loses ~7 or 8 counties.

A poll out of Iowa says that most Republicans think Biden cheated in the last election. Unreported is that most Democrats believe Trump cheated in the one before that. Go figger..........

MSLSD was laughable last night. They dove deep into the "64% say Trump is fit even if he's convicted of a crime".

He's facing dozens of criminal charges. You have to wonder if ANY crime, even murder, would disqualify Trump in the eyes of these extremists.

There is no coming back for these folks, they are lost.

These people aren't even watching the lies on Fox. They're getting their information from places way out there in the extreme and past it. They live in a different universe where they aren't getting news or truth like what a network like this one puts out. They live in an entirely different reality and there's no hope to turn them.

I think I hit the high notes on their coverage.

I cannot begin to describe how disingenuous it is to put clowns like Al Sharpton, Larry the Fightman O'Donnell, Peppermint Patty, Rachel Madcow, wildly racist and full time liar Joy Reid & the talentless only got a job because he bows at the feet of Rachel Chris Hayes in the same room at the same time and still manage to keep a straight face while calling themselves "news".

The only reality those clowns operate in is a special group of tax payer sponsored authoritarians that believe they're smarter than everyone else because of their skin color, sexual preference or ability to decide how to distribute other's wealth.

I'm not saying it would have made a difference but the Associated Press (MSM) called the Iowa state caucus' for Trump, before the caucus' even began to cast ballots and vote. They were still in the stage of citizen speeches and citizen caucus campaigning when the national press called the primary. Since only Republicans are allowed to vote in the Iowa caucus', it probably was a foregone conclusion, but people were looking on their phones before voting, and saw that the election was already supposedly decided. In a close election, that would be a bad look, and many would accuse the MSM of cheating.

Also, in New Hampshire, the Primary voting will be somewhat closer, and Haley could come out a "winner". NH is an Open Primary state so their Democrats and Independents are allowed to declare their vote in the Republican Primary if they choose. Since the Democrats are not holding a Primary, there may be a lot of Democrats who choose to vote.
