The U.S. is investigating the leak of top-secret American documents that show Israel military preparations for an expected strike on Iran, U.S. officials said Sunday.

The two leaked reports were prepared last week by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, which analyzes imagery gathered by American reconnaissance satellites and other intelligence.
Neither document indicates Israel’s potential targets, and one cautioned that the agency’s analysts “cannot definitely predict the scale and scope of a strike on Iran.”

The reports describe the types of aircraft and munitions the Israeli military is expected to use in an attack, which the documents say could come without additional warning.

The Iranian people were on the verge of revolt when Obama was in office. Obama stepped in and backed the gov't then in charge. Had he taken the peoples side we probably wouldn't be having these problems now.

What problems? Lobbing some 80's Soviet tech across the desert is nothing more than a slightly less boring target calibration exercise for our Navy. Iran is defeated the moment their leadership gets out of bed in the morning. Their only play is funding tunnel-running terrorists. Their attack is the equivalent of a small child spilling applesauce on a luxury vinyl plank floor.

My wet dream is Operation Peace Shield deployed and monitoring 50 miles off the border of Russia, China, N. Korea, and Iran.

It would go live near The Ukraine absolutely melting anything and everything that crosses their border with bad intentions. That includes soldiers. Russia would then fire off everything they have including their nukes, and we would neutralize them in space, international waters, and wherever else they fly to. The precedent would be established. There is nothing you can do to hurt us, or your neighbors. Go back to work, then go home and **** your wives and make babies - try to enjoy the rest of your life. But most importantly leave everybody else the **** alone.

I have no real clue, but is it possible that the prospects of a real war with Israel pushes Iran to civil war, or is the Iranian population more or less in lock step with the Iranian government? I have always heard that the Iranian population is much more moderate than their Islamist gov't.

I love it!! And to help deplete our offensive weaponry, let's use them to attack all major threats ... Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, etc. That'll get them to fire off all THEIR stuff and we can then use our defensive weapons to obliterate all those offensive weapons being fired at us and we will then have depleted the world of all offensive weapons.
