I'm a big fan of Sam Elliot. He and Katharine Ross' marriage has quite the story. They met in 1978 and married 1984. She had been married 4 times before tying the knot with Elliot. Elliot had never been married. Elliot, 79, is 4 years younger than Ross.

He has quite the quote (and typical for him) for their marriage being successful. "You work past the sh*t, you don't walk away from it. That's how relationships last."
