  • On Funding NASA, or Not

When we give up moving forward, when we give up inventing, when we give up exploring new dreams and horizons, we have given up.

    Fund NASA.

Give NASA directions that don't include sending people to Mars, or establishing colonies on the moon. Plenty of other stuff to do, I'm certain.
I think Pringles original intention was to make tennis balls... but on the day the rubber was supposed to show up a truckload of potatoes came. Pringles is a laid-back company, so they just said, "**** it, cut em up!" - MH

No you don't fund NASA. They don't have a vision and as all government organization is just a fat pig with no purpose.

Space exploration is important so what you do is provide incentive to private companies to continue to explore and go ""Where No One Has Gone Before". If it means pursuing mining asteroids or the moon as a start then so be it. Ultimately we have to pursue faster than light travel (or really the science to either prove/disprove Einstein theory of relativity) or find a workaround (worm-holes).

The most we're ever going to be able to explore in our physical bodies is the moon, the asteroids, and maybe Mars. In order to explore the universe outside of our own solar system, we will need a body that is not bound by the laws of physics.

Currently we don't have that kind of body. But it will happen and the universe (creation) waits for it even now.

        Romans 8:19-23
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
