The lefties never seem to get investigated for obvious smoke, then get to claim that there is nothing there. The right, and Trump get investigated over everything and get convicted of guilt by the fact of the investigation, even though the facts usually point to the contrary. It's a hell of an advantage for propagative purposes, to be sure.

I don't think it is so much about protecting Trump as it is the citizenry (at least a very significant portion of them) are fed up with the double standards, hypocrisy and corruption of the left, the leftwing media, and the deep state (mostly one and the same). The last thing these people should call themselves is liberals which is derived from the Latin word liber, meaning free. The left seems to favor authoritarian, totalitarian, big statism. They are progressive only in that their agenda allows them to progress in terms of the personal wealth and power.
I really don't care if Trump runs again. In fact, I hope he doesn't. But he probably will unless the left (the democrat party, the leftwing media and the deep state) are able to finally take him down.Comment

1) Accept as fact all material leftist assertions regarding Trump, while ignoring that nearly everything that Trump says about them ends up being true and those assertions proven as lies.
2) Deny that Trump executed the most conservative agenda in their lifetimes, in record pace.
3) Deny that Trump used conservatism to spearhead one of the strongest economic turnarounds, again in record time, prior to Covid.
4) Deny that Trump appointed a record number of conservative judges to the appellate courts, flipping a couple courts, and giving the appellate court system a conservative majority edge for the first time in your lifetime.
5) Deny that Trump gave life time conservative appointments to nearly 30% of all federal bench seats with youthful judges that will be around for decades to come.
