Sometimes we joke about it, but rights being taken away is a serious issue. It may take a while (maybe a decade, or maybe several decades, but We are seeing the far leftist, liberal playbook in Canada, America, and elsewhere, with rights already beginning to be taken away. Canada is just farther along than America, and fortunately, our Constitution addresses our rights to freedom of speech, freedom of Religion, freedom of protest, and the right to bear arms to fight for keeping these rights.
In America, we have an erosion of our rights with Emergency Pandemic Laws (vaccine mandates) leading the way, Universities are also involved (supposedly safe spaces against “hate” speech) taking away speech freedoms, far left being allowed to riot, maim, and kill because of their supposed free speech rights, but people protecting themselves aren’t allowed.
In Canada, emergency measures are allowed to take money, and personal property from truck protesters, and people who contribute money to their cause in the name of holding down racism, etc.
In Finland, two Christians (a Bishop in the Lutheran Church and a Parliamentarian) are charged with hate speech (possible prison time, fines, etc) for tweeting their beliefs from the Holy Bible (mainly Romans) that says they believe in “Man and Woman” only (no transgender or LBGTQ). It’s amazing when traditional beliefs held for Centuries are suddenly against the law.
These current events in democracies to take away rights are the game game plan for Socialists, BLM, etc. and many of the Democrats in the U. S. are moving these movements. These are just a few, and many others are happening in South America, besides what has already been done in China, Russia, Cuba, and other Authoritarian/Communist, and Socialist countries who traditionally have fewer rights.Comment

Sadly, he is a misplaced, quiche-eating, latte-sipping, effeminate — and fraudulent — gasbag in a nation largely composed of hockey-players and outdoors-lovers.
He is actually making Biden look better in comparison. Well maybe not.
The problem is that the Canadian people and the American people keep putting these jokes into positions of power. So I guess were getting what we wanted. Or at least the majority (allegedly, more likely a pluratly at best) are.

Does anyone else remember a few months ago when the Biden administration wanted to hire 10's of thousands of new IRS agents and wanted to monitor all bank transactions of $600+? It's not because they are "going after the rich", it's because they going after us normal people. Look at Canada now locking people's bank accounts that donated to these truckers. Now do you see why we should not be letting the IRS spy on every minor transaction we make?
Canada has sadly become a police state under Trudeau. Someone told me that they think he is probably just doing what is best for his country, but anyone that knows anything about Trudeau knows all he cares about is power. Trudeau also basically said that anyone that supports the truck drivers stands with people that support white suppremicy and nazism. I'm telling you that this guy is not a good dude and that he believes in the iron fist of government. Nothing about him supports liberty and individualism.You can't handle the truth!
