  • CNN reports Whisper of GOP seeking new Candidate

Mesa, Arizona (CNN) - In a whispering campaign not ready to go public, some senior Republicans are so anxious about the state of the GOP race they are actually considering the unheard of: a scenario that would lead to another candidate entering the Republican primary race, and potentially an open convention.
Since I don't think the Republican have much of chance of winning against Obama, I think it would be cool to have a open convention and the drama that would go with it. But I don't really think it would happen anyway. To much risk for that "replacement" republican who is really waiting for 2016.

I'm generally opposed to the WSU needs football discussions, but after reading that the Koch brothers had pledged upwards of 50mil to defeat Obama in 2012 (this without a single viable candidate), I'm thinking that money could be better spent.
I think Pringles original intention was to make tennis balls... but on the day the rubber was supposed to show up a truckload of potatoes came. Pringles is a laid-back company, so they just said, "**** it, cut em up!" - MH

How about 40 mil to get rid of Obama and 10 mil to secure our coach over the next five years?

50 million to get rid of the worst president in the history of the country? It's a bargain at 20X the price.

Well, as I always say, better to waste 40 million dollars on a slate of almost incomprehensibly and painfully flawed candidates than 50 million.

Actually, I never say that, because it's practically impossible for me to think in those terms.

3G is a man. He can coach dudes. He is a known quantity. That's a valuable commodity.

I think that is going to be a little shy, I have heard that his starting bid will be in the 2.5 million range.

Even a $trillion or two would worth it and cheap in comparison to what the man will waste over another 4 year term.
