That’s not counting Bernie Sanders, and other liberal friends such as Ed Markey, and others, some of them ran for President. Will they grow in 2022? You may not have voted for them, but they have great influence pushing our country to the left. The moderate leftists aren’t holding their ground very well. America is moving left again quickly.

Yeah, we definitely need to pay attention closely at our local politicians to be aware of the red flags. School boards are where a lot of garbage is seeping in.

In the 30's, and 40's, a big portion of our country believed that Communism was the future. That seems to be seeping slowly into our society again. We need to watch the 2022 election to see if the creep continues from a federal level. And you are correct that our city governments and school boards seem to be going in that direction.

While Capitalism isn't perfect, and freedom can be lost with it, Communism is worse, and freedoms will for sure go away. I don't wish that on our youth, but they seem to be seeking it.

          Slowly?

In this very thread you brought up an incident of a crime in broad daylight with nobody doing a thing to stop it. That one (lost) generation that Reagan spoke of appears to be upon us now, however, the final chapter is far, but maybe not too far, from being written.

I think that progressivism is anti-American. It is the belief that social engineering is superior to liberalism (individual rights). Communism/Fascism are just the economic wings of progressivism.

No need for a survey. Pretty sure there is plenty of evidence all over the place.

Hopefully today's SCOTUS ruling punches the far left in the face. Not sure I agree with the Precinct specific part of the decision, and I'm not happy Justice Kagan was so scathing in her dissent, especially regarding ballot harvesting, but it's a sound ruling and pretty much destroys the President's already bogus suit against Georgia.

At least Chief Justice Roberts saw the light (for a change) today.

Roberts has been on the forefront for voting restrictions since the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was still in debate. I don't think it is correct to say he 'saw the light for a change' in regards to these restrictions. This has been a primary issue for him for his entire legal career, and he is more tied to efforts to implement voting restrictions than any other Supreme Court Justice.

If your main basis for being against a law is that minorities are not capable of performing the tasks required of all citizens, you are the racist, IMO.

That’s not an opinion. That’s definitionally true.

We knew this would happen, and now the outrage. A man in a California spa who says he’s a Woman disrobes in front of women, and girls. How sick of a society do we have? But this is Berkley and California law now? Listen to this woman who won’t back down.
