I would really like to hear from one of our liberal voices on Shockernet on her statements and the National Review Article.

Does that mean that China has an equal footing to the United States on human rights abuses (LInda Thomas-Greenfield said that we have our own human rights problems so we need to tread lightly) as our UN Ambassador has indicated?

While our woke left (probably most not woke left/instead criminal left, but there are reports of Antifa in Minneapolis) burns,and loots people's businesses in the name of anger and fairness, Tiannenman Square was put down so quickly in China. Imagine our government shooting, beating, and imprisoning protesters and what would result afterward. The Chinese people were just conducting a peaceful protest, and the Chinese government put it down without mercy.
