I realize everything is hyper partisan these days, but I want to say this about 2016. I think the Republicans should have worked with the President to put forth a judge they could live with and vote for, or in the alternative, voted no on whomever President Obama nominated, and live with the consequences of those votes.

Then it's about the Republic, not the Senator. But as we all know, it's about the Senator, unfortunately, no matter the party.
