Bloomberg: It’s Good to Tax the Poor So They Can’t Afford Things That Might Hurt Them Like Soda

It is crazy the democrats are coming out and telling everybody what their plans are. Beto - gun confiscation. Kamala - drug patent seizures, now Bloomberg - we will tax the poor and it will be good for them.

The whole "tax the billionaires" is a charade. The reality is there are not enough billionaires to make an impact, but you have to start there before you can hit the middle class and poor with tax increases.

Taxes are great if you want the state to provide all the services.

I figure anybody that doesn't pay taxes should not receive a "refund."

One of the great lies that government does....so many people get a "refund" at tax time, when it's not a refund at all, it's just welfare disguised within the tax system.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain that to an employee of mine. If you paid $100 into Federal Taxes and you're getting $1900 back in the form of, for instance, an EITC, then $100 is a refund and $1800 is welfare or income redistribution, whichever, but it's not a refund.

I can think of lots of ways in which this just isn’t true.

Citizens? How about non citizens or in other words, illegals?

AND We have another caravan now coming from Central America (Honduras) since October. A good number of states, (including Biden Presidential campaign promises and the Squad) say EVERYONE is welcome to our taxes.

After all there is no question the government can spend your money much more efficiently and effectively than you can.

Cuomo Warns New Yorkers 'Tremendous' Tax Hikes Could Be on the Way

                  https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahba...hikes-n2581336

All the while he get's ready for his Hollywood Birthday Bash/Fund Raiser on December 17lth. Why is the NY Governor to celebrate his birthday and raising campaign cash with Hollywood celebs and bigwogs. I guess the Hollywood big wigs are big supporters considering Cuomo has given them $420 million in tax credits. So they have to recycle a few million of that back to Cuomo. After all New York is in great shape financially since they have some of the highest, if not the highest, tax rates in the nation.

New York sounds like the place for you. I hear real estate is on sale in NYC.
