About 2/3 of the way through Apocalypse Never. It’s an easy read filled with anecdotes, policies, and science that he’s experienced in his 30 years as an activist. The theme of the book is how to achieve maximum conservation and minimum pollution through industrialization. It’s a humanist take that suggests energy density pulls people out of poverty, takes less land, and pollutes less, thus allowing for The generated wealth to conserve the unused land. He does a nice job of using the existing data put out by the IPCC and other pro-environment groups to show the benefits in a policy shift.
